The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that LA 121 in Vernon Parish, between Owens Loop and Walnut Hill Road, IS NOW OPEN TO ALL TRAFFIC.

***EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE***
LA 121; Vernon Parish;

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that LA 121 in Vernon Parish is CLOSED DUE TO AN EMERGENCY SITUATION INVOLVING THE ON-SITE DETOUR ROADWAY FOR THE BRIDGE REPLACMENT WORK ON LA 121 BETWEEN OWENS LOOP AND WALNUT HILL ROAD. This closure is anticipated to be in effect until Monday afternoon on May 16, 2016.

Permit/Detour Section
The detour route will be as follows:

At the intersection of LA 121 and Walnut Hill Road, LA 121 traffic will be directed south on LA 121 to LA 28; then east on LA 28 to LA 469; then north on LA 469 to LA 8; then east on LA 8 back to LA 121.

At the intersection of LA 121 and Owens Loop, LA 121 traffic will be directed North to LA 8; then west on LA 8 to LA 469; then south on LA 469; then east on LA 28 back to LA 121.
