The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that, weather permitting, construction work will begin on the Boundary Road Bridge Replacement Project on Thursday, February 28, 2013 and will continue for approximately (4) four months. This bridge replacement project is located on Boundary Road over Brushy Bayou which is approximately 0.5 miles west of the intersection of LA 463. This 0.08 mile long bridge replacement project will receive clearing and grubbing, removal of existing drainage structures and a four span concrete slab span bridge.

The project was awarded to the low bidder, Guinn Construction, LLC in the amount of $326,200.00.

Permit/Detour section
The contractor intends to remove the existing bridge on March 4, 2013. The roadway will be closed to traffic for the duration of the project.
