DOTD to Host Public Meetings Regarding I-10 Corridor Improvement Survey

BATON ROUGE -- The Department of Transportation and Development will host three open house public meetings to discuss proposed improvements to the I-10 corridor from Essen Lane to La. 415 in Port Allen. DOTD officials along with engineering and traffic experts will present regional engineering and traffic study results based on input from the initial round of public meetings in August and September 2015. Residents are encouraged to attend one of the three meetings.

• Monday, February 22, McKinley Middle Magnet School, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Tuesday, February 23, Addis Community Center, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Thursday, February 25, Baton Rouge Marriott Hotel, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Representatives from the project team will be present to receive comments and answer questions related to the Stage 0 Feasibility Study. The open house meeting will include a brief, continuously running slide presentation, project team availability for direct questions and an interactive exercise where the public can submit their input.
