Lafourche Parish- La 308- Golden Meadow Bridge

The Golden Meadow Bridge (LA 308) crossing Bayou Lafourche in Golden Meadow, LA will be closed to vehicular traffic from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday October 8, 2015 in order to allow DOTD’s contractor to perform repairs to one of the gearboxes. The bridge will remain in the “open to marine” position until the repairs are completed.
Alternate bridges available for crossing Bayou Lafourche are: New Larose Vertical Lift Bridge, 15.1 miles north of the project, and the Galliano Vertical Lift Bridge, 6.6 miles north of the project.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
