KENNER, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces alternating lane and ramp closures for Interstate 10, in both directions, from the St. Charles Parish line to Williams Boulevard starting Sunday, March 9 at 7 p.m. and ending on Friday, March 14 at 5:30 a.m., while crews perform milling and asphalt paving for the $4.8 million project to overlay 2.3 miles of I-10.

During the closure, both eastbound and westbound I-10 will have only one lane open, and alternating entrance and exit ramp closures at Loyola Boulevard and Williams.

This closure will allow for vehicles 12-feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zone; therefore, wide loads will not be able to pass.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds drivers to please drive with caution through the construction zone and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
