LANE CLOSURES: I-49 at LA 1 (N. Market St.), Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises on Monday, March 17th and Tuesday, March 18, 2025, the inside (left) lane of the I-49 overpass over LA 1 (N. Market Street) near Blanchard in Caddo Parish will be closed.
The northbound bridge lane closure will take place on March 17th and the southbound bridge lane closure on March 18th, from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day. (see attached map)
The purpose of the lane closures is to allow DOTD crews to clean the drainage components and other parts of the bridge.
Restrictions/Permits: No width restrictions will be in place.
Alternate Route: No alternate route necessary.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Remember to leave plenty of room between you and the vehicle in front of you.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
