BELLE CHASSE, LA. - The Belle Chasse Bridge and Tunnel Replacement Project announces the following scheduled construction activities and anticipated traffic impacts. As always, these anticipated impacts are weather permitting and subject to potential changes.
Evening/Overnight (5 p.m.- 5 a.m.)
Monday, 3/24
· Two-way traffic on LA 23 northbound across the new bridge from Dale Ave. to L St.
Tuesday, 3/25
· Two-way traffic on LA 23 northbound across the new bridge from Dale Ave. to L St.
Wednesday, 3/25
· Engineers Rd detour & LA 23 southbound lane closure from Burmaster to Engineers Rd.
Sunday, 3/30
· LA23 – 2-way traffic on LA23 southbound across the new bridge from Dale Ave to L St, close Burmaster intersection and southbound turning lane
Monday, 3/31
· LA23 – 2-way traffic on LA23 northbound across the new bridge from Dale Ave. to L St, close to Burmaster turning land and Barriere Rd. intersection.
