Reminder: Traffic light activation at LA 25 and Lake Ramsey Rd. (St. Tammany Parish)

Reminder: The new traffic signal at LA 25 at its intersection with Lake Ramsey Rd. in St. Tammany Parish will turn on at 9 a.m. this morning.

St. Tammany Parish, La.
- The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises the traveling public that a new traffic signal has been installed on LA 25 at its intersection with Lake Ramsey Rd. in St. Tammany Parish.

The new signal will begin permanent cycles at 9 a.m. on Monday, February 10, 2025.

Once the signal becomes fully operational, all signal timing will be monitored and adjusted as necessary based on traffic conditions at the intersection.

The new traffic signal will help manage traffic flow and enhance safety.

Motorists are urged to be aware of the change in traffic configuration and prepare for possible congestion as the timing for the new signals is adjusted. Drivers must remove all distractions while behind the wheel, adhere to the posted speed limit, and never drive while impaired.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site. Be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment, and leave plenty of room between you and the vehicle in front of you.
