The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, (DOTD), advises the public that beginning Monday, February 10th, 2025, weather permitting, construction will begin at the intersection of LA 1204 (Camp Livingston Road) and Williford Road, and terminate at the intersection of LA 1204 (Camp Livingston Road) and US 165. The traveling public should expect alternating lane closures throughout the duration of this project. This project is expected to last until the middle of March.

This construction project consists of milling and overlaying asphalt pavement.

The contract was awarded to Diamond B. Construction, LLC in the amount of $433,275.44.

Permit/Detour section
There are no detours at this time associated with the lane closures.
There will be a lane width restriction of 12 feet for traffic on LA 1204.

All construction activity is weather-dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. DOTD appreciates the motoring public’s patience and reminds drivers to please exercise caution when traveling through work zone areas and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
