Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 11:16:09 AM
Baton Rouge, LA – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that the left lane of I-10 westbound will be closed beginning at 9 p.m., Friday to 5 a.m., Sunday. This closure is necessary for crews to perform work on the joints of the Ward Creek Bridge between the I-10/I-12 split and College Drive exit.

In the coming weeks, motorists should prepare for a new traffic alignment as the project nears completion. Under the final configuration, I-12 westbound will be realigned under the I-10 overpass at the I-10/I-12 split. More information will be released in the coming weeks.

Once completed, the College Flyover project will provide College Drive-bound drivers with a two-lane dedicated ramp, safely separated from interstate traffic. For detailed information on the College Drive Flyover project please visit www.collegeflyover.com.

DOTD appreciates your patience and we would like to remind drivers to exercise caution and drive with care through construction sites. Please be mindful of work crews and their equipment, and adhere to all posted signage and speed limits.
