RAMP CLOSURE: I-220 westbound to I-49 northbound, Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Thursday, January 16, 2025, the I-220 westbound ramp to I-49 northbound in Shreveport, Caddo Parish will be closed.
This ramp closure is scheduled to take place from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and is necessary to allow DOTD crews to perform preventative operations related to snow/ice.
Restrictions/Permits: Total ramp closure at the specified locations.
Alternate Route: Detour signage will be in place. Motorists traveling westbound on I-220 can access I-49 northbound via LA 173 (Hilry Huckaby Ave) to LA 3194 (MLK Jr. Drive) to I-49.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
