Plaquemine/Sunshine ferry will have modified service on Dec. 25, 2024, and Jan. 1, 2025

PLAQUEMINE, LA – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the Plaquemine/Sunshine ferry will have modified service on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, and Wednesday, January 1, 2025.

Service for the second ferry boat will be suspended on both days.

The primary boat will run during normal operating hours of 4:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
