BELLE CHASSE, LA. - The Belle Chasse Bridge and Tunnel Replacement Project announces the following updated scheduled construction activities and anticipated traffic impacts. As always, these anticipated impacts are weather permitting and subject to potential changes.

Weekday Daytime Schedule (8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.)
· Monday, 11/11 - Southbound LA 23 left lane closure from the new Belle Chasse Bridge - Barriere Rd.
· Monday, 11/11 - Northbound LA 23 left lane closure from Engineers Rd to Burmaster St.
· Tuesday, 11/12 - Southbound LA 23 left lane closure from Burmaster St. - Barriere Rd.
· Tuesday, 11/12 - Northbound LA 23 left lane closure from Engineers Rd to Burmaster St.

Wednesday, 11/13
· LA 23 southbound left lane closure starting before Outfall Canal and ending at Barriere Rd.
Detour from Lapalco Blvd -> Wall Blvd -> Harvey Blvd -> Engineer’s Rd.
· LA 23 northbound left lane closure starting at Engineers Rd., ending after Outfall Canal
Detour at RaceTrac bulb-out

Thursday, 11/14
· LA 23 southbound left lane closure starting before Outfall Canal, ending at Barriere Rd.
Detour from Lapalco Blvd -> Wall Blvd -> Harvey Blvd -> Engineer’s Rd.
· LA 23 northbound left lane closure starting at Engineers Rd, ending after Outfall Canal
Detour at RaceTrac Bulb-Out

Friday, 11/15
· LA 23 southbound left lane closure starting before Outfall Canal, ending at Barriere Rd.
Detour from Lapalco Blvd -> Wall Blvd -> Harvey Blvd -> Engineer’s Rd.
· LA 23 northbound left lane starting at Engineers Rd., ending after Outfall Canal
Detour at RaceTrac bulb-out

Nighttime and Weekend Schedule (7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)

Saturday, 11/16

· LA23 southbound left lane closure starting on new bridge, ending at Barriere Rd.
