LANE CLOSURE: I-220 westbound bridge over the Red River, Bossier Parish


The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Saturday, September 28, 2024, the I-220 westbound right lane of the Red River bridge in Bossier Parish will be closed for the purpose of cleaning the bridge deck.

This lane closure is scheduled to take place from approximately 4:00 a.m. to noon.

Please be mindful of crews and equipment on site, and drive with extreme caution through the work zone.

DOTD urges motorists to abide by the posted speed limit (slowing down in work zones), eliminate all distractions, and to never drive while impaired.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Remember to leave plenty of room between you and the vehicle in front of you.
