CCC Decorative Lighting Project: Overnight HOV lane closures scheduled through next Friday (US90B EB)

New Orleans—The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces full overnight closures of the HOV lanes on the eastbound bridge beginning Friday, September 27, for electrical work associated with the $23 million Crescent City Connection Decorative Lighting Project.

The HOV lanes will be closed daily from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. starting Friday, September 27, through Friday, October 4, except September 28 and 29, when all lanes will be open.

Drivers are advised to use the main span eastbound bridge during these times when heading into the city.

Thursday, September 26, 2024: 7:30 p.m. – 4 a.m., Eastbound CCC, Right lane closures.
Friday, September 27, 2024: 8 p.m. – 4 a.m., Eastbound HOV lanes, complete closure.
Saturday, September 28, 2024: No scheduled closures.
Sunday, September 29, 2024: No scheduled closures.
Monday, September 30, 2024: 8 p.m. – 4 a.m., Eastbound HOV lanes, complete closure.
Tuesday, October 1, 2024: 8 p.m. – 4 a.m., Eastbound HOV lanes, complete closure.
Wednesday, October 2, 2024: 8 p.m. – 4 a.m., Eastbound HOV lanes, complete closure.
Thursday, October 3, 2024: 8 p.m. – 4 a.m., Eastbound HOV lanes, complete closure.
Friday, October 4, 2024: 8 p.m. – 4 a.m., Eastbound HOV lanes, complete closure.

Please note: Previously scheduled work on the main line eastbound bridge for Sept. 27 and 28, which included right lane closures, has been canceled.
