BRIDGE CLOSURE: LA 526 (Bert Kouns) overpass over I-20, Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at beginning at 6:00 a.m., the LA 526 (Bert Kouns Industrial Loop) overpass over I-20 in Shreveport, Caddo Parish will be closed for repairs.
This bridge is located approximately two miles west of the Pines Road interchange with I-20. (see included map)
This bridge closure is anticipated to last one day, and is necessary to allow for repairs to the joint on this structure.
Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure at the specified location.
Alternate Route: Detour signage will be in place.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
