INTERMITTENT LANE CLOSURES: Various routes in Caddo Parish for routine bridge inspection


The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the following intermittent lane closures on various routes in Caddo Parish have been scheduled to allow for routine bridge inspection:
  • Monday, July 8, 2024: US 71 (N. Market Street) southbound over Cross Bayou near downtown Shreveport.
  • Tuesday, July 9, 2024: US 71 (N. Market Street) northbound over Cross Bayou near downtown Shreveport.
  • Wednesday, July 10, 2024: LA 3032 (Shreveport-Barksdale Bridge) eastbound over the Red River in Caddo/Bossier Parishes.
  • Thursday, July 11, 2024: LA 169 over Twelve Mile Bayou 1.6 miles east of LA 1 near Town of Mooringsport.
  • Friday, July 12, 2024: LA 3094 (N. Hearne Ave) over Twelve Mile Bayou 0.96 miles north of LA 173 in Shreveport.
  • Saturday, July 13, 2024: I-20 westbound over M.P. Railroad crossing near Greenwood, just east of US 80/79 interchange.
  • Sunday, July 14, 2024: I-20 eastbound over M.P. Railroad crossing near Greenwood, just east of US 80/79 interchange.
DOTD bridge inspection crews will be on site conducting these routine inspections. Please drive cautiously through the work zone, slow down, remove any distractions, and never drive while impaired.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
