Calcasieu and Jefferson Davis Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that US 165 Northbound and Southbound at Interstate 10 will have roadway closures on the following dates and times.

Full closure
  • US 165 Northbound at Interstate 10 will have a full closure from 7 p.m.-5 a.m. on the nights of Monday, May 20, 2024, and Tuesday, May 21, 2024.
  • US 165 Southbound at Interstate 10 will have a full closure from 7 p.m.-5 a.m. on the nights of Tuesday, May 21, 2024, and Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
Left lane closure
  • US 165 Southbound and Northbound left lanes will be closed from Monday, May 20, 2024, to Friday, May 24, 2024.
Detour routes:

US 165 NB:
  • Detour US 165 Northbound by heading east onto I-10 South Frontage Road, then north onto LA 101, then north onto US 165.
  • Detour I-10 Westbound by traveling west onto LA 3258, then north onto LA 383, then west onto I-10 Westbound on ramp at LA 383.
US 165 SB:
  • Detour west onto LA 101, then south onto LA 383, then east onto LA 3258, then south onto US 165.
  • The I-10 Westbound on ramp will remain open to US 165 Southbound traffic.
