UPDATE - REOPENED: LA 590, Morehouse Parish
(UPDATE): DOTD advises motorists that LA 590 has been REOPENED.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 590, approximately one mile from its intersection with LA 591, in Morehouse Parish is closed due to high water.
DOTD reminds motorists to never drive around or move ‘road closed’ barricades at any time for any reason. This behavior is extremely unsafe, as well as against the law.
Additionally, never drive through standing water, no matter how shallow the water appears to be.
