**UPDATE – REOPENED**: LA 3033 (Cheniere Lake Bridge), Ouachita Parish


The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the LA 3033 bridge over Cheniere Lake in West Monroe, Ouachita Parish has been REOPENED.

The project to replace the bridge and spillway on a separated alignment from the previously connected structure is now substantially complete and the roadway has been reopened to traffic.

Motorists should be aware that they may encounter crews and equipment still on site as final work items are completed.

DOTD sincerely appreciates the community’s patience while this project was underway.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
