There will be a full roadway closure on Hwy 44 at the St. John/St James parish line effective Thursday March 7, 2024 at 9:00 am through mid-April while ATALCO (Atlantic Alumina) makes repairs to their elevated pipe bridge. This is a privately owned structure and the owner is coordinating crews and materials for the repairs..
