INTERMITTENT SHOULDER CLOSURES: I-220 westbound, Bossier Parish


The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Sunday, March 10, 2024, there will be intermittent shoulder closures on various bridges and overpasses on I-220 westbound from the I-20 interchange to the Red River in Bossier Parish.

DOTD maintenance crews will be working from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to remove trash and debris from the bridge decks along this section of I-220 westbound.

Please be aware that personnel and necessary equipment will be on site, so motorists are strongly urged to drive with caution through the area while these operations are underway.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
