St. Charles Parish, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces an upcoming lane closure on the northbound I-310 Hale Boggs Bridge for scheduled maintenance beginning at 7 P.M., Monday, February 5, 2024.

The closure is necessary for contractors to complete crack-sealing work on the northbound bridge lanes. Work is part of an $8.4 million project to patch and repair roadways, guardrails, and restripe lanes on I-310 from US 90 to I-10. The project has been ongoing since 2020.

The estimated work time runs through Wednesday, March 5, though crews will switch from the right lane to the left halfway through.

All on and off-ramps will remain open.

DOTD will send out weekly updates via the MyDOTD service.

DOTD appreciates the public’s patience and reminds residents to drive cautiously through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.

DOTD has the following resources in place to assist motorists.
