DOTD Announces Temporary Closure of I-10 Westbound at University Avenue in Lafayette Parish due to crash

UPDATE: ALL LANES OF I-10 WESTBOUND AT UNIVERSITY AVENUE ARE NOW OPEN. THE I-10 WESTBOUND ON-RAMP IS ALSO OPEN.


LAFAYETTE, La. - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that I-10 westbound at University Avenue is closed due to an overturned tractor-trailer in Lafayette Parish.

Additionally, the I-10 westbound on-ramp at University Avenue will also be closed to traffic.

Motorists are advised to use an alternate route.
