Updated: I-55 LaPlace to Ponchatoula now open

Update: 2 PM, January 16, 2024: LA State Police have notified DOTD that I-55 is open in both directions from LaPlace to US51B.

Laplace, La. - Road Closure Update:

I-55 Northbound and Southbound highrise is now closed due to inclement weather between LaPlace (at I-10) and US 51B exit just south of Ponchatoula. Residents may still use the low road at this time.
