St. John the Baptist Parish - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces updated information for I-55 in St. John the Baptist Parish.

As of 9:45 a.m., Monday, November 13, 2023:

I-55 Southbound: Repairs have been completed and all lanes of I-55 southbound are open to the public.

I-55 Northbound: Repairs have been completed all lanes of I-55 northbound are open.

DOTD thanks the public for its patience and will release updated information once repairs are complete. Travelers should visit 511la.org or download the Louisiana 511 mobile app for additional information. Out-of-state travelers may call 1-888-ROAD-511 (1-888-762-3511).
