Leeville, LA – November 6, 2023 - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development is making modifications to the GeauxPass program which will be completed in late November. Changes made by a new back office will make GeauxPass more accessible and efficient for Louisiana residents.

The most notable differences for GeauxPass users include a change in the look of invoices, updates to the GeauxPass website, and condensing the vehicle classifications from eight classes to three.

Non-resident commuters will still receive a 40% discount. Drivers without a GeauxPass account and tag properly located in their vehicle will continue to receive invoices to be paid via Toll-by-Plate and with an added 90-cent cost for these transactions. To open a new GeauxPass account and receive a vehicle tag to eliminate the 90-cent toll-by-plate fee, please submit an application by Wednesday, November 8, 2023, to allow for processing.

The Customer Service Center will be closed from November 9-19, 2023, while updates take place. Customer service will still be available during this time by emailing customerservice@geauxpass.com. Any GeauxPass or Toll-by-Plate account issues can be resolved when the Customer Service Center reopens on Monday, November 20, 2023.

Individuals or businesses that require copies of GeauxPass or Toll-by-Plate statements must do so by emailing customerservice@geauxpass.com by January 5, 2024, in order to have access to statements prior to November 2023.
