DOTD advises Metairie residents of lane closures this weekend at Airline/Clearview intersection

Metairie, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces lane closures for this weekend at the Clearview Blvd. (LA 3152) and Airline Hwy. (US 61) intersection in Metairie, as work crews install new waterlines for the $6.8 million reconstruction project.
Residents should be aware that delays throughout the weekend are likely at the intersection.
Notifications for the weekend of October 20-22, 2023:
- Clearview Southbound: Double left turn lane closure (both left turn lanes closed) overnight Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, between Temple St. and Airline Hwy. These closures will take place between 7 p.m. - 6 a.m.
- Clearview Southbound: Single left turn lane closure (one left turn lane will remain open) between Temple St. and Airline Hwy on Saturday and Sunday. These closures will take place between 6 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Clearview Northbound: Left lane full closure between Earhart Expressway and Airline Hwy. from 7 p.m. Friday through 6 a.m. Monday morning.
