ROAD CLOSURE: LA 169 north of I-20 in Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Saturday, September 23, 2023, LA 169 at the Union Pacific railroad crossing in Greenwood, Caddo Parish will be closed.
This closure is scheduled to take place from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and is necessary to allow the RR company to perform repairs to their tracks.
The crossing is located immediately north of I-20, and just south of Cemetery Road (see included map).
Restrictions/Permits: Total road closure. All vehicles will need to utilize an alternate route.
Alternate Route: Detour signage will be in place.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
