NOW OPEN Iberia Parish - LA 182 - Road Closure

UPDATE AS OF AUGUST 25, 2023: DOTD announces that La. 182 is NOW OPEN between La. 88 and La. 674 (Admiral Doyle Drive). As clean-up activities continue, the railroad crossing at La. 182 and Airport Boulevard will remain closed until further notice. Additionally, the speed limit is temporarily reduced to 45 mph throughout the work zone. Motorists are encouraged to be on the lookout for crews and their equipment as work continues in the area.


UPDATE: Effective immediately, LA 182 is closed between LA 88 and LA 674 (Admiral Doyle Drive) due to a train derailment. Motorists will need to utilize an alternate route.

NEW IBERIA, LA. - Effective immediately, LA 182, from the St. Martin/Iberia Parish Line to Darby Lane in New Iberia, is closed to traffic due to a train derailment.

Motorists are encouraged to use an alternate route.
