Belle Chasse Bridge & Tunnel Project: Tunnel to close to pedestrians and cyclists on May 20

BELLE CHASSE, LA. - The Belle Chasse Bridge and Tunnel Project announces the upcoming permanent closure of the Belle Chasse Tunnel to pedestrians and cyclists. This closure will occur May 20, 2023, and is necessary due to construction progress. The Belle Chasse Tunnel will remain open to motorists.

Plaquemines Parish residents may arrange alternative transportation by calling 504-934-6940.
