INTERMITTENT RAMP CLOSURES: I-49 in Shreveport, Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the following intermittent ramp closures on I-49 in Shreveport, Caddo Parish have been scheduled to allow Kansas City Southern railroad to perform maintenance work to their infrastructure:
- I-49 southbound off-ramp to Kings Highway: Friday, May 5, 2023
- I-49 southbound off-ramp to LA 511 (70th Street): Friday, May 5, 2023
- I-49 southbound off-ramp to Hollywood/Pierremont: Saturday, May 6, 2023
These intermittent ramp closures will take place in 30-minute increments from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Alternate route: Detour signage will be in place.
Restrictions/Permits: N/A
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
