Belle Chasse - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces the following updates for short-term lane closures at the Belle Chasse Bridge and Tunnel Project.

• Wednesday, April 5, 2023: Full lane closure of the left lane of the Belle Chasse Bridge between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
• Short-term intermittent lane closures will continue through Friday, April 28, 2023, for traffic in both directions on LA 23 between the bridge/tunnel and Barriere Rd. and LA 23 between Dale Avenue and Engineers Road. On weekdays, these closures will occur between 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and 7 p.m.-5 a.m. Saturday lane closures will take place between 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
