LA 23 TRAFFIC SHIFT | Engineers Road - Algiers Outfall Canal Bridge
BELLE CHASSE, La. - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that starting Monday, April 10, 2023, through Friday, April 21, 2023, there will be a traffic shift on LA 23 in the northbound direction. Motorists traveling northbound on LA 23 between Engineer’s Rd. and the Algiers Outfall Canal Bridge will shift to the left onto the newly constructed LA 23 roadway. During this timeframe, there will be intermittent lane closures at night. All work is weather permitting.
