Belle Chasse Tunnel Closed for Inspection & Cleaning Overnight Mon-Wed

Belle Chasse - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that the Belle Chasse Tunnel will be closed to traffic from 7 p.m. - 4 a.m. Monday, February 27, 2023, through Wednesday, March 1, 2023, for tunnel cleaning and the biannual tunnel inspection.
The following closure times are for the Belle Chasse tunnel only. During the closure times traffic will rerouted in both directions on the Belle Chasse Bridge.
Monday, February 27, 2023: Closed 7 p.m. - 4 a.m.
Tuesday, February 28, 2023: Closed 7 p.m. - 4 a.m.
Wednesday, March 1, 2023: Closed 7 p.m. - 4 a.m.
