BRIDGE CLOSURE: LA 170 over Black Bayou, Caddo Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Monday, October 24, 2022, the LA 170 bridge over Black Bayou near Gilliam in north Caddo Parish will be closed.

This bridge closure is scheduled to take place from Monday, October 24th through Sunday, November 6th, and is necessary to allow DOTD crews to make repairs to the bridge.

This bridge is located approximately 0.6 mile east of the LA 170/I-49 interchange, between I-49 and US 71.

The bridge is currently load posted at 15-25 tons.

Alternate Route: Total road closure. Detour signage will be in place.

Permits/Restrictions: Total road closure. All vehicles will need to detour.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
