The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that, weather permitting, on Thursday, May 12, 2022, road construction will begin on LA 451 from P Laborde Road to Bobby Gaspard Rd. Alternating lane closures are to be expected.
This 6.2 mile construction project consists of subgrade and base treatment, asphalt patching, asphalt concrete roadway, and related work.
This contract was awarded to Gilchrist Construction Company, LLC in the amount of $3,251,413.10.
Permit/Detour section
Lane width will be restricted to 10 ft.
