DOTD announces the start of a Road Construction Project on LA 92 in Vermilion Parish

VERMILION PARISH, LA - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Monday, April 4, road construction will begin on a $ 3,986,916 project on LA 92 in Vermilion Parish.
The project will begin at the intersection at LA 343 and continue until roughly 1500 ft. before its intersection at US 167. The work consists of milling, patching, base stabilization, overlay, drainage, and other related work.
The work is estimated to take place on Mondays through Fridays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.
The road will be open to regular traffic with a 12-foot width restriction for the duration of this project.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.
The project is estimated for completion in the fall of 2022.
