The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that beginning Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 7:00 a.m., weather permitting, Setliff Road (Bridge) work will begin. Setliff Road will be closed three-fourth (¾) of a mile from the intersection of Pine Coupee Road or 2.8 miles from the intersection of LA 119. This work is needed to replace an existing tank car with a new concrete slab span bridge.
This is an off system bridge project for the Rapides Parish Highway Department that was awarded to Merrick Construction, LLC in the amount of $1,098,063.50 This work is expected to last approximately 4 months.
