ROAD CLOSURE: LA 511 (W. 70th Street) in Shreveport, Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Monday, November 29, 2021, LA 511 (W. 70th Street) just west of Walker Road in Shreveport, Caddo Parish will be closed.
This closure is scheduled to take place for ten (10) days, and is necessary to allow the contractor to replace a large cross drain at this location.
This is part of the ongoing safety improvement project to install turn lanes on LA 511 at Walker Road and Kennedy Drive, as well as improve drainage.
Alternate Route: Detour signage will be in place.
Permits/Restrictions: Total road closure at the referenced location. All traffic will need to detour.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
