US 80 overpass at Calhoun reopened following bridge replacement (Ouachita Parish)


The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the US 80 overpass over I-20 near Calhoun in Ouachita Parish has been REOPENED following a bridge replacement project.

The $9.7 million project began in January 2021 and involved the removal of the old bridge, and construction of the new bridge off site in order to move the new structure into place to expedite the process.

This overpass is located at Exit 103 on I-20.

Motorists should be aware that the contractor will remain on site over the next few weeks to complete some final works items, so please continue to drive with caution through the construction zone. This remaining work will be performed weather permitting.
