Golden Meadow Bridge to open briefly today for marine traffic

Golden Meadow- The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that the Golden Meadow Bridge in Lafourche Parish will be open today from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for marine traffic.
This bridge was closed to marine traffic due to a damaged operator house from Hurricane Ida, however, a contractor will be manually opening it today only for marine vessels with a maximum of 70 feet vertical clearance.
