UPDATE - REOPENED: LA 507 creek bridge, Red River Parish


The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that the LA 507 bridge located northeast of the village of Womack in Red River Parish has been REOPENED to traffic following a bridge replacement project.

The $2.2 million project involved the complete removal and replacement of the old structure, which was originally built in 1968.

Motorists are advised to be on the lookout for crews and equipment, as the contractor may remain on site to complete any final work items over the next few weeks.

Please pay attention to advance warning signs and adhere to the posted speed limit.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
