DOTD announces temporary traffic flow measures on La. 182 bridge in Morgan City

Morgan City, LA - DOTD announces that beginning today temporary traffic flow measures will be put in place on the La. 182 bridge in Morgan City to help ease congestion in the area.
With assistance from the Morgan City Police Department, the eastbound lane will be open from 6 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. to vehicular traffic traveling only in the eastbound direction. From 4 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., the eastbound lane will be open to vehicular traffic traveling only in the westbound direction.
These temporary traffic flow measures will only be in place until DOTD crews make the necessary repairs to concrete barrier rail that was recently impacted, which resulted in the full closure of the bridge.
