INTERSTATE LANE CLOSURE: I-20 Eastbound at US 80 in Calhoun, Ouachita Parish


The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that on Friday, July 23, 2021, the left lane of I-20 eastbound at mile marker 103 (US 80) near the village of Calhoun in Ouachita Parish will be closed.

This will not affect the I-20 westbound lanes as they will remain open during this time.

This closure is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 23rd and is anticipated to be re-opened by 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 24th.

This interstate lane closure is part of construction on the ongoing US 80 overpass replacement project in Calhoun.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
