The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, (DOTD), advises the public that on Monday, April 12, 2021, road construction will begin on LA 112 from US 165 to I-49. Alternating lane closures are to be expected.
This 6.9 mile construction project consists of asphalt pavement patching, micro-surfacing and related work. Construction is expected to be completed by June 2021.
This contract was awarded to Vance Brothers Inc. in the amount of $990,482.77.

All construction activity is weather dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. DOTD appreciates the motoring public’s patience and reminds drivers to please exercise caution when traveling through work zone areas and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
