UPDATE: The Cameron Ferry has resumed service.

Original notification:

Cameron Ferry closure – Cameron Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the Cameron Ferry will be out of service today, Monday, April 5, 2021 until further notice.

The closure is necessary due to mechanical repairs.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
