The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, (DOTD), advises the public that, weather permitting, on Monday, March 22, 2021 road construction will begin on LA 1 in Marksville, LA, from Moreau Street to the end of the four lane section. Alternating lane closures are to be expected.
This 1.56 mile construction project consists of concrete pavement patching, cleaning and resealing joints, and related work. Construction is expected to be completed by July 15, 2021.
This contract was awarded to JD’s Rebar & Construction, Inc. in the amount of $827,063.07.
Permit/Detour Section
No detour or lane width restrictions will be needed.
