The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 542 in the vicinity of Leon Drive in Jonesboro in Jackson Parish is CLOSED in both directions due to downed power lines and a tree across the road as a result of winter weather.
DOTD will advise when the roadway has been reopened.
