UPDATE - RESCHEDULED: ROAD CLOSURE: LA 175 at Stonewall-Frierson Rd, DeSoto Parish
(UPDATE (6/18/2021): DOTD advises motorists that this closure has been rescheduled to take place beginning on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 7:00 a.m. and reopening on Sunday, June 27th at 7:00 p.m.

UPDATE (2/11/2021): DOTD advises motorists that this closure has been canceled. Additional notification will be issued in the event it is rescheduled.

Original notification:
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that on Saturday, February 13, 2021, LA 175 at the Kansas City Southern railroad crossing near the intersection with Stonewall-Frierson Road in Frierson, DeSoto Parish will be closed.
This closure is scheduled to take place from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and is necessary to allow the railroad company to perform repairs to the track.
Alternate route: I-49, LA 509 and LA 1
Restrictions/Permits: N/A
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
